Race Equality Debate – Summary

This event is a Question Time–style debate where participants will have the chance to discuss and question important issues around race, equality, and inclusion in today’s society.

The aim is to create a safe, respectful, and open space for everyone to share their views, learn from others’ experiences, and think about how we can work together to build a fairer community for all.

1. What does race equality mean in schools and communities today?
2. How can we challenge racism and unconscious bias? 
3. What role do social media and popular culture play in shaping attitudes?
4. How can young people become allies and promote inclusion?

By the end of the debate, we hope everyone will leave with a better understanding of different perspectives and some practical ideas on how to make positive change in their own environments.
